Birth Announcements
My favorite announcements are from Simply to Impress. The price is not bad, ranging from $1.50 to $4.00 each, depending on options and number selected. Top this off with some wax seals from Fauxwax.com.

Consumer Reports has a good checklist of things to make sure you have if you are expecting a baby. Also useful it you are registering for a babyshower or need to buy a gift for a baby shower.
This cute wristband, called a milkbands, gives you an easy way to keep track of whick breast the your child fed from last by just turning it inside out. One side of the band/bracelet says "left" and the other "right". It also has little markers to indicate how long the feeding was. I am not sure how useful these are and they do seem like a choking/swallowing hazard, which the manufacturers mention as well. The bans look very similar to the ones that people wear to support a cause or interest, so you can wear it out and not feel strange about it.

Who knew there were Juicy Couture Boot-Cut Maternity Jeans? Neiman Marcus did apparently. They have some very hip maternity clothes and baby supplies. A bit excessive, but it is nice to know that high fashion is catering to the pregnant women. And don't forget baby, they actually have a footie that costs $99 dollars! Unbelievable!
The prices are high, but maybe for one little splurge, not on the $99 footie though!
PoutChild.com has some really cute hats for baby.
Would be a great accessory for Easter-time. They have lots of other cute baby stuff too, but are somewhat expensive.

The Dondolino Prima Pappa Peg Perego rocking high chair seems really cool! You can read more about it at the Peg Perego website.

The new trend of a "bedside sleeper" is a bassinet that is flush with your bed and has an opening to your bed. These seem to be a very appealing convenient option for nighttime feedings and diaper changes.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has ratings for safety seat ease of use which show their ratings for assembly, evaluation of labels, evaluation of instructions, installing features, securing the child and overall ease of use rating. For details, click here.
No more excuses for the dad not changing diapers with his cool new diaper vest. This thing is hilarious, but also looks like a normal vest and has its own changing pad included. The Dad Gear website, www.dadgear.com also has diaper bags that look like messenger bags. Everything the cool new dad needs, or rather doesn't need, but wants.
Metal particles were found in a Gentlease⢠powder infant formula, so Mead Johnson has recalled one batch of Gentlease⢠powder infant formula in 24 ounce cans, batch number BMJ19.
There have been no reported problems thus far. If the formula caused problems, you would know within 3-4 hours; so if you fed your infant this formula in the distant past, it is not a reason for concern.
