Bedside Sleeper

The new trend of a "bedside sleeper" is a bassinet that is flush with your bed and has an opening to your bed. These seem to be a very appealing convenient option for nighttime feedings and diaper changes.

Also, it seems less concerning than having the baby actually in your bed, where you could roll over on top of them in the middle of the night. It does have its own safety issues, so make sure the bedside sleeper is completely joined to your bed and is the same height as your bed. This is to prevent a gap forming in between the bed and sleeper, which could cause a risk of the baby suffocating if trapped in the gap. You also have to watch that the adult bedding does not get on the baby.
